Avery to travel with the team

To Washington but will not play as he is still recovering from the collision with Ryan Callahan.No need for him to play anyways,better to let his knee rest.I'm almost certain knowing Sean that he will be ready for the opener on Friday against Pittsburgh.

Avery on last years team

BAM!I take it as the team wasn't as close as Sam,Joe and numerous others on the MSG team tried to make it seem.There were problems and hopefully we ridded some of them.

Avery has a sprained knee

Suffered in a collsion with Ryan Callahan the other day at practice,off crutches and an MRI has come up clean but he'll go for a procedure where they inject his own blood into the tissue around the knee in an effort to speed the recovery
