Yes they should have won this in regulation if not for a bad play by Chris Drury and soft goal by Henrik Lundqvist,but a shootout win is fine at this point.Any points are good,with this Avery and the Rangers move up to the sixth seed with 82 pts and Montreal down to 7th with 81.Avery's 3 game goal streak ends but he had a very active game,all over the puck and once again drew 2 penalties.He had a few sneaky shots that almost beat Carey Price.final stats
